I have visited many places around the world but Connaught Place in Delhi has special place in my heart. It’s our own CP. I have so many childhood memories here. Whenever I visit this place it always feels like home.

One big change which this place has due to metro is it has ruin the beauty of Central Park, inner circle. Earlier there was a fountain right in the Center of the Central Park where we use to sit . And when the fountain was used to on, that drizzle of water I enjoyed in my childhood makes me miss more of the vibe of Central Park.

Otherwise all things are same. More shops and outlets have opened but I always look up to Nirulas burger shop in CP whenever I used to pass by that road. Now there is a big cafe called cafe Sandoz.

Long-awaited Janpath and CP visit! ❤️

Yesterday reminded me how much I love this part of Delhi. The vibrant lanes of Janpath, browsing through beautiful silver jewellery, sipping coffee at D Paul’s, enjoying momos, and spending quality time with my son and niece made my heart so happy.

I have decided to visit Janpath more frequently because Connaught Place is truly my jaan. Just the thought of going there fills me with excitement and happiness. Some places have a special energy that makes us feel alive, nostalgic, and at peace all at once, and for me, CP is one of those places.

Sometimes happiness is not found in grand events but in simple moments—walking through familiar streets, discovering little treasures, and creating beautiful memories with loved ones.
