People are always in search of happiness. They try to do so many things so that their home always be filled with happiness and joy. It’s often seen people buying things on expert’s advice which attracts happiness. I don’t know how effective these artifacts are. But imagine a person buys a feng shui show piece thinking this will bring happiness in her life and quarrels all the time with family members. Do you think the person be happy? She don’t need things, she needs to change her attitude of quarrelling all the time.
Depending upon things and people for their happiness is the big mistake people often make. When you are not happy from within, nothing can make you happy. Neither any thing, nor people. Find happiness within. When you are happy from within you will make others happy too. People who hold grudges, anger, negativity, jealousy, are toxic. Stay away from these kind of people. They not only are obviously not happy with themselves and chances are they will also don’t like to see you happy too.
Everyone has their own defination of happiness, their own outlook makes them happy or sad. Each emotion is equally important. Important is don’t stay in same emotion for too long. If you are sad, don’t be sad for too long, try to get out of your sadness as quickly as you can. If you are happy, great, everyone want to be. All are working hard to attain it. Celebrate your happiness and again start a new day with new challenges.
Make small goals for yourself and celebrate after attaining each goal. Every day you must have some work to complete or the other, you must have something to look up to. People who make the habit to attaining small goals earlier, achieve success by attaining bigger goals later.
The day you don’t need anyone to make you happy is when you attain happiness within. When you are happy from within, no one can take away your happiness from you. Then you will feel happy even while eating simple food. Stay happy always.

In this fast world we are also living a fast pace life in which we don’t have time to have proper meals. Thanks to junk food industry, we and our children are more interested to eat fast food items than eating home made simple food. Reason is it’s easily available and at economical prices too. Where men and women both the parents are working, they prefer time saving instant foods. They don’t have time to cook meals and also don’t have time for having family lunch.
People are so busy earning money that they forget living, eating, enjoying. All this affects their health and it lands them to a nearby gym or dietitian. Eating right and exercise are as important as brushing your teeth daily. Though exercise needs efforts but it’s worth it. Apart from working in office or at home a proper exercise session is a must.
We will only be happy when we are healthy. For happy and healthy life we have to come out of our comfort zones. Being fit and fine always payoff in long run. It protects you from harmful disease. Who wantsto be ill and take a pill? No one, right! So for that, you have to move your body.
Imagine you are not well and on medication. How do you feel? Don’t like to have those medicines which will give you side effects in longer run though they heal you. You feel low all family members get disturbed if one member of the family gets a disease. Dealing with it gives you mental trauma, financially also it can finish your savings. You save money to fulfill your future goals and not on diseases. Do you want your children studies suffer due to your illness? No parent will want this to happen. If you follow a healthy lifestyle 90% chances are that your children will also follow the same.
Healthy citizens of country are assets. Mediclaim secure you mentally and financially. But you have to think wisely for yourself. When you get ill mediclaim will only pay your bills but your body suffers , no mediclaim can give you back a healthy body. You and only you will have to make an effort to attain it.
Everyone got excited when it comes to going for a vacation. It create another level of happiness and thrill to explore new destination. Taking a break from hectic schedule is necessary for all. Vacations makes us more energetic, our mind gets fresh and overall feeling is good.
Do you remember the days when at school children were sent for summer vacations. The moment summer vacations starts children enjoy their free time by playing games, chatting with friends, enjoying watching their favourite cartoons, having fun with all. Today also children are given vacations but now they are burdened with useless holidays homework which they just want to complete without learning anything from it.
Going on vacation lightens the weight of your pocket but it’s worth it. People go for spiritual vacations, religious vacations, historical vacations etc. Each vacation makes us more open more knowledgeable about the place to visit. Exploring is, knowing that place more, loving the adventure attached to it. The feeling of going on vacation makes a person think how to reach that place, mode of commuting, what to carry, what to wear, essentials needed, thanks to technology that makes us know in advance the forecast of next coming few days prior to our visit there. It gives us the opportunity to prepare ourself accordingly.
The best part of vacations is the happy memories we make are not only captured in our cameras but in our minds too. Another way of spending your summer vacations is to go to the park and enjoy nature. Good for families, youngsters, children, old aged, everyone. You will find people of all age groups in a park near you. Be there and get motivated how people including you are health concious. Take water and some eatables with you if you like to spend more time in park. I think it’s worth going to a park and socialize than spending huge amount on watching movies in theater, it’s good for health too.
So, start your day with early morning walk in a park, plan a vacation there. I am sure you will end up finding a good place to go for a vacation. After coming back from your fun-filled vacation don’t quit going to a park.
Our morning starts with bed tea or coffee. Next comes freshening up, making breakfast, if going to work, preparing lunch also in morning. We are all the time in rush to catch-up with something or the other. Proper planning of the day makes it easier for us to be more relaxed and enjoy our day with work simultaneously. Self care and self decipline go hand in hand. When you find time for yourself it makes you more decipline. Next day morning when you get up you will make a schedule to do things, which are daily tasks like cooking, cleaning etc. you will be more excited to complete the essential work on time so that you can spend quality time with yourself or family members.
For example, if you plan to watch a movie on ott then you will finish all your work with being so excited to watch a new movie, on the other hand, if you are not motivated or don’t reward yourself then work becomes burden. So reward yourself daily with something or the other to stay motivated all day. Say to yourself today if I complete this I will eat my favourite ice-cream, or may be go shopping, etc. It will not only make you happy but to see you happy all the people around you will feel your happy vibes.
Life is full of ups and down, no matter what you have to face hard situations some times. Don’t loose yourself and be confident that the hard time will pass soon. Write 5 things that you are grateful for daily in a notebook. You will feel blessed. Everyone want to be rewarded for their extra efforts which they put in completing a job, be it a project in office completed by an employee or child’s better result, extra efforts put on by a businessman in his business.
Children when after so much study hours and exams feel thrilled when they get the opportunity to enjoy a movie and the trip is organized by school itself. Isn’t it rewarding for children. They make so much memories on that movie spree which they will treasure their whole life. Corporates should also think about sending employees on family trip so that the whole lot of time, energy, dedication which an employee involve in a company is due to support of his family members without them he cannot perform well in a company. Corporates should understand not only their employees but families of employees are involved in the good performance of a company and should be rewarded accordingly.
Recently changing my son’s school I came to know that his new school is so much active in extra curricular activities, their worldwide exposure and teachers are given opportunity to learn from attending different seminars extra. They are also with children rewarded with picnics extra. It’s good for overall development of children and teachers. Good to see my son always coming cheerful from school. These all are example of others giving you reward. But my blog is about how to reward yourself. It can be done if and only if you like to be rewarded.
Now a days we all use payment wallets like Google pay, Amazon pay to pay for shopping, grocery, bill payment etc. What they do, have you noticed, they reward you with scratch card which may be a surprise discount coupon, a subscription to any app, a cashback. Why they do so, so that when you think of paying, you return to them thinking you will get a reward.
Reward yourself a grooming session, taking care of yourself is not a sin. Bring home your favourite things which fascinates you, enjoy the new and the old things. Cheer up, celebrate life. Celebrations bring colours of joy to a place. It’s gibberish not to reward youself. Frankly speaking, to be at jam packed malls is not much fascinating than to be at a city park with children, families playing around, people brisk walking, pets roaming around. Being with nature is reward in itself. We spend so much money to go to a hill station, to be with nature. Easy way out is daily spare small amount of time and go to a nearby park.
You will be more than happy to know and see like-minded people in park. In mall you may spend on junk food but in park you will only come home with energetic you. Motivated enough to go next day too.

Happy May to all. The theme for the month is Dance. How dance helps in staying happy? Dancing is good excercise too. Have you seen a sad person dancing? Yes, you are right we dance when we are happy. I grew up watching many actors dancing in films and from those actors my favourite is Madhuri Dixit Nene. She is an actor, dancer and I have seen almost all the movies of her. The way she dances, with so much grace, I haven’t seen anyone dancing like her.

We see so many dance competition going on, and celebrities judging them. Children participating in these competition are a treat to watch. Tell me the last time you danced and what was the occassion. Now a days zumba is also very popular, there are many centres providing zumba classes specially for females. It’s dance plus exercise.
Dance as a hobby is good for your overall development. It makes you active. It makes you more positive. It makes you happy. You always feel enthusiastic. There are many dance schools where children are being send by their parents to learn dancing.
There are people who never went to any dance school and still manage to do good dancing is because of their love for dance. Dancing also burn unwanted calories also and doubles your happiness. Recently, I was watching a comedy show advertisement on T.V., A man was performing both, male and female character and making fun of women and men. For him, it’s his bread and butter, the writer, whatever he wrote for him, the actor performed. It’s just a fun act, but can hurt many. So, I once read somewhere that ‘my laugh should not be the reason for someone’s cry’. People want to tear you down because they can’t be like you, so they find your weakness and make every effort you don’t succeed in life. But let me tell you one thing, trust God and yourself, say to yourself that yes, I Can Do this. You will definetly succeed in life.
You can overcome each and every obstacle when you change your mindset. People do things to divert your attention, to break you, to divert your focus. And want to bring you down. Never let it happen with you. Always remember don’t trust words, trust actions. People say so many things but their actions speaks, notice it.
You are, what you think you are. When you stop bothering about everyone, you attain another level of freedom. Imagine you are at home and sitting and sipping coffee, suddenly you think of a person who ditched you in past and feel sad, don’t feel sad, God wants him to go from your life because you have not heard the conversations, God has listen. Sometimes it’s good that some unwanted people should be cut off.
Choose joy, happiness. If a person keeps abusing you, her words and actions don’t match, cut her off from your life. People who are not good for your mental well being, should always be avoided. Be so busy in loving, pampering, grooming yourself that you don’t have time for negative people. Cook, sing, dance, be happy in whatever you do. Appreciate life.
Happiness is, to see the green fields. Beauty of nature makes you happy and let you forget all the worries, tensions, stress. Spend more time with nature. Go to nearby park more often, spend some time there. Play a sport, when you indulge in activities like this, you will find no time to overthink. Read a book or magazine, use less gadgets. When we find ourselves capable of doing things which we had not done in past, it boost our confidence. Ignoring negative people and wearing confidence is key to success.
You are rejected in job interview, you failed in your business, don’t lose hope. Be positive and keep on going. One day you will surely succeed. Losers are those, who don’t try again. Try, try ,try again. There was a lady, who always think that she can’t do anything new other than household work, she can’t earn, she don’t have the capability in her. When she can do business at the age 90, why can’t we at young age? She is an inspiration to many. Don’t be disheartened and be prepared for next challenge to make your mark.

‘Keep smiling always’, ‘smile please’, ‘be happy’, these are some of words we often say to our loved ones. Because, we care for them and want them to be happy and smiling always. What is the difference between smiling and being happy? It makes me think that, those people who are happy from inside, may not smile a lot but have achieved a level of happiness, peace, satisfaction in their lives that no one can steal from them. The people who are happy in every situation they face, and stay strong, are the ones who attain true happiness in their lives.
See the image above, which I shared, assume that it’s you, seeing yourself in the mirror. Just focus to please the person you see in mirror and not others. If you have the ability to please others and make them happy, think, wow ! How talented I am! Why not make myself happy first.
One thing I want to mention here is that, we happily give money to beggars, but avoid buying things from small vendors, by this we are encouraging people not to work hard. If you want to give something to a beggars, then give them food, water, cloths, free education but not money. Instead, buy from small vendors, who are working hard, day and night to feed their families well. Encourage them to do more hard work.
Charity is good, it gives happiness. When you help someone in need, gives happiness. It makes you feel capable, to help others. Through you, God is sending help to the needy. You have so much money, you can buy anything, latest gazette, precious jewellery, you have all the facilities at your home, you have servants 24×7 at your service. You must be the happiest of all. Do you think it’s true? Think again, more the money, more you will be worried to protect it from theft. You must think of a job or business, which gives you immense pleasure, that, the money which comes with it becomes bonus for you. Then you will fully and truly enjoy what you do.
Do you know, who goes to Casinos? People who have money in abundance but don’t know how to utilise it, people who want to make money quickly and easily. You don’t have to have a professional degree to play at casino. You just need money and luck. Some just loves to try their luck and enjoy, and go there. You already know the harmful after effects of instant and easy to cook food. That rule apply here also. So, be steady and consistent in whatever you do (job/business).
While choosing a career for yourself , we always get attracted to highest paid jobs and choose a professional degree in that field. Ignoring what we are happy in doing. May be the things in which we are good at will not fetch enough money, that’s the reason why we convert our thoughts and liking for higher paid jobs. It is very good that you are career oriented and know, at the end of the day money will pay my bills and feed my family. But don’t compromise on your hobby or passion. Give some time for that also. Who knows it may become source of passive income for you. You are persuing your hobby and also earning. Wow!
Always think of opportunities, your focus will be on being positive all the time. Most of the time we feel disappointed when we are rejected by others. Others may have opinion about you, but always, always, always remember don’t reject your dreams, yourself, just for others. This kind of situation is faced by most of career oriented people. Always say to yourself, everything happens for good. If I didn’t get the job may be I will get better options than this in future. Keep trying, never give up and definately you will succeed. It’s hard to make a mark in this competitive world. Focus on what you are good at, your strengths and act accordingly. Here I will share my personal experience with you. When I started blogging, I was not sure what I will write about, how readers reaction will be, but I keep on writing and before publishing my blog, got so excited about the response which I will get. Each and every like and comments counts, means so much. The blogs which don’t get much response makes me do better next time. I never think of giving up. Keep on trying, keep writing. Writing makes me happy.
I will tell you story of a Financial Advisor, He started very well and was very positive about what he is doing. Daily he went to his clients, expecting that they will do some investment through him and he will earn from it. After continues negative response from people, he one day give up. Instead he could have learn skills, to positively close the call. Failure makes you learn new things which success never does.
