Workout is one of important part of my life. For me it’s the pleasure to perform 1 hr daily in 🏋️♀️ the gym, excercises which my personal trainer tell me to do.
I am so grateful that I am being able to do so much with the help of my personal trainer.
To all the girls out there, if you have not started any physical activity, don’t wait for the right time.
Start as soon as possible and don’t forget to thank me later. 😊
Trust is an important element in any relationship. If you trust your friends and family you share so much with them. Absence of trust makes you uncomfortable to have deep conversations with them.
When we talk about trust we must include ourselves too. Trust yourself that you can do anything and everything possible. Trust, when you feel low that everything happens for a reason.
Trust, the best ones enter your life, who no matter what happens, believes in you, who supports you. Sometimes you need only you, to take a break and understand how to keep going when things are challenging. At that moment you need someone who just be there , without any advice, without judging, without saying anything.
Recently watched a video of ALIA BHATT KAPOOR and her sister Shaheen. The way ALIA always stand up for her family and sister is commendable. ALIA is a bubbly girl and when she cries in front of camera how mature she is to understand that I have to be there for my sister. ALIA IS A REAL GEM 💎 ✨️ 💖.
I understand the bonding between sisters. This is called trust. I love ALIA for the person she is in real life, a good mother and a great great actor, writer, entrepreneur and singer.
Have deep conversations with your loved ones, have fun with family. ALIA BHATT KAPOOR is my choice, who is keen on climate change actions.
We often visit to mall near our place. From past 6-8 months or so me and my son were observing a thing. Whenever we were waiting for food ordered, we saw people sitting around enjoying their food. Some with family, some with friends. What surprised us was we always saw two or three people eating their food alone. Me and my son always talk about this and one day I decided to go alone in the mall to experience how it feels to eat alone. I had never done this before.
So, I went to the mall shopped alone, bought two t-shirts for my son. It didn’t felt awkward shopping alone because I did it many times before.
Now, I went to the food court which is on third floor of Pacific Mall. I was already feeling shy to eat anything alone. I ordered a drink and finished it in a hurry because it seemed everyone is staring at me only. My experience was not good.
Why people go alone and enjoy food? It hit me hard. I searched on Google and found about Solo Dates.
I know everyone talks about self love, self care nowadays. I also wrote about it, but didn’t know about solo dates. Is it worth it? Let’s find out.
Today we will know more about solo dates.
According to google:
Solo dates is an activity you do by yourself, often to prioritize self care and self discovery. Solo dates can be great way to:
Get out of your comfort zone.
Increase your confidence.
Explore new things.
Rebuild relationship with yourself.
Feel more independent.
Prevent losing individuality in a relationship.
I totally agree with Google on all the above mention points.
Ideas of Solo dates according to google:
Take a walk.
Go for a drive.
Volunteer for a cause.
Plan a weekend without gadgets.
Get a workout.
Watch a movie.
Treat yourself a fancy meal.
I again totally agree with all the ideas of google except the last one because I never seen anybody happy eating alone. You can have your meal at home that may be a great idea.
Solo dates are a good way to listen to your souls voice which will help you decide what is good and bad for you. When we are surrounded by people we often come under their influence and take decisions accordingly.
Successful people may ormay not be happy buthappy people are alwayssuccessful. People think when we will be successful we will be happy. Happiness is free. You just have to find it within yourself. They say “BE THE BEST VERSION OF YOURSELF” but I say “BE THE HAPPIER VERSION OF YOURSELF”.
Because when you are happy from within nothing is impossible and everything you do will have that positivity which is missing in people who only work and stay busy or they work just to stay busy.
To be happy is our responsibility we can’t blame others for not keeping us happy. Question yourself, what makes you happy? When you answer this, another question arise, are you doing things which makes you happy? Most of the people don’t have time for the things which makes them happy.
Small gestures, small things makes us happy most of the time. We ignore these things thinking that more money more happiness. It’s very good to be financially independent but at the same time it’s important to focus on our happiness goals too.
When you give 1 hour daily to yourself your 23 hours will automatically become happier than before. Choice is yours.
According to WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION 31% of the world population is not physically active. Which makes them deprived of various health benefits of being active. Are you one of them ? Among these 31% most of them are women and elderly who are inactive.
Women are less physically active than men. The global target is to bring this 31% physically inactive population to 15% by 2030. Together we can make everyone aware about this information. Though it is a global target but remember each one of us will be benefitted by being physically active. Our health will improve and so does the health of our family and friends.
Encourage your family and friends to be active through your social media accounts, through calls. Inspire them by being an example for them.
WHO recommends that adults should have 150 minutes of moderate-intensity or 75 minutes of vigorous- intensity physical activity per week.
Women don’t get time for physical activity or they don’t give importance towards being active. But physical activity can save us from various diseases like cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disorders and much more. Nobody wants to be ill. For that, we have to spread awareness about the benefits of being physically active.
Encourage everyone for walking, cycling, running, playing games so that they can easily attain 150 minutes per week of moderate-intesity physical activity.
Elderly people are more prone to being inactive due to old age. The idea is to show them the picture of other elderly people who are going to the park daily. Tell them that, inspite of injury people are still coming to park. And it’s not false , I myself have seen elderly people who go to park daily, injured inspite of injury walking in the park.
Just like we all join our hands to fight against Covid. We, the world, are together again to spread awareness to be active.
Remember when we were children, we wanted to become adults very soon? Children want to become adult because they see freedom of action. Adults don’t have to ask for anything from anyone, they can do what they like, there is no one to scold them, they don’t have to study, adults don’t have to go to school, they don’t have to do homework etc. These are some reasons children want to become adults soon.
Now, when we are already adults we miss our school time, that golden period of our lives where we had to follow rules and regulations, we had to be in decipline. We miss our school friends, some are in touch and some are not. We are so busy in earning a living that we have no time even to think about it, isn’t it?
We should balance our professional and personal life wisely. So that, we also have time for leisure, for hobbies, just to rest, enjoy nature, spend time with our family and friends. When we miss our school friends we also miss those old days when we were children.
Don’t take life too seriously. If you love swimming, just go for it. If you love cycling, just do it. It’s always right to do what you love, instead of regretting or wasting time thinking, I am too old for all this.
Health and happiness gohand in hand. If you arehealthy then you arehappyand if you are happy youwill automatically becomehealthy. For your health for your happiness, to stay young always, never think you are too old to start again.
You can start a business at 60. I have seen people who have started at the age of 60 and above and are very successful. Because they don’t think that they are 60. They think that they can achieve anything at any age.
So, what are you waiting for? Join a sports academy for your fitness 💪. Indulge in any creative activity 🎨. Be financially independent. Or, do something to inspire others.
We all eat healthy or unhealthy food. Without food we cannot survive. Some things harm others heal. Our unhealthy eating leads to many health issues. To prevent this situation we normally go for dieting or hit a gym.
But as seen on social media there are enormous dietitians sharing so much information that this is good that is bad without any scientific reason. That common person gets confused what to do.
Best to do in this situation is stick to homemade food as much as you can. Go for a professional dietitian who can help you through customised diet plan.
I find recommendations of Rujuta Diwekar , famous celebrity dietition very relatable, very easy to follow. When you eat local seasonal and traditional food, you don’t have to do any extra efforts to prepare a meal. Just eat right portion.
When I was under customized guidance of a dietitian. She said it’s not good to have sugar at all. How one can stop having sugar all of a sudden. She said sugar is poison, I don’t agree with her at all. She always suggest so time consuming receipes that it was not practically possible to cook all. We married women have so much more responsibilities to fulfill other than just cooking. Her approach was not practical. She always pin point what’s wrong we did but lack solutions. I sometimes felt that I am talking to a cook and not a dietitian who only have recepies to share.
We gave the power to these type of dietitians to take the lead and we will follow. But what I experienced is you just have to eat local, traditional and seasonal as said by great Rujuta Diwekar. Eat local thinkglobal are her words. Each and everything which she says in her videos are so relatable and easy to follow that I fell in love with her knowledge, personality and the way she convey things in a funny manner.
We only have to eat healthy and there is no need for dieting. When we eat healthy , the benefits which we gain through it is enough to make us fit in every way. Another important thing to do is remain active. Means, excercise regularly at least 4 days a week.
When we change our lifestyle to a healthier one. We start mindful eating, when we eat mindfully we don’t need anyone to tell us what is right for us. Our conscious mind will automatically choose right things only.
400 gms of fruits and vegetables a day are enough fiber for the day. Eat pulses daily it will fulfill the requirement of protein. Avoiding sugar or eating less sugary things will take you to right direction. Your sugar cravings will become less after sometime.
Less fried food is another one challenge we all face towards healthy lifestyle. Health should not be measured in terms of our weight instead it should include our overall health parameters.
As WHO warned about the outbreak of covid variant J N 1 in many countries we should be more careful about our health and should take precautionary measures where it is needed.
1. Avoid Crowded places.
2. Wear mask
3. Use handwash or hand sanitizer.
4. Social Distancing
Weight loss industry will only direct you towards weight loss. They are less concern about your day to day minor illnesses. There are very less players in weightloss industry who are sincere towards their clients and treat them above their monetary interests.
The thunb rule is before joining any of the plan first enroll for the basic plan for sometime. If you find worth it then go for their premium plans.
