The theme for the month of February is MUSIC🎶. Music enters through our ears and touches our heart. Music lovers can’t stay happy without music. It’s food for their soul. The music don’t know boundaries. You can enjoy any and every type of music, even if you don’t know the language of the lyrics. Music bring us all together, it don’t divide anyone in terms of caste, creed, colour, gender etc.

The best music is, which touches your heart and soul. All of us have different choices and liking for music. Some love soft music others may be, party music. We all listen music according to our mood. Music changes the vibes of the place where it is being played. If you have doubt then do an experiment, play music of your choice for 7 days. Listen as little as 15 minutes or as much as 2 hours. After 7 days you will feel the difference. And if it is devotional music, you will see the results even more earlier.

Imagine your day without music. Perhaps, there is no day spend when we don’t listen music. While going somewhere, sitting on chair, doing your work, while waking up, we all are surrounded by music. Chirping of birds, sound from nearby holy place, natural sound or man made songs, intentionally or non intentionally we all listen music. It’s our part of life. There is music wherever we go.

Music lovers enjoy buffet of apps that cater to their love for music, where everyone have their own playlist. They follow their favourite singers. When searched, all the songs sung by that singer is shown on the app and you choose what you want to listen. Another way of listening music is through radio. It’s an economical medium to satisfy your ears. Here you listen what is played by the RJ (Radio Jockey). Apart from being economical it also provide information, by way of short headlines of the day. Radio interact with common people and cater to their needs.

Children also love music. It is said that you must teach your child any musical instrument. You can search on google about its benefits for children and adults too. To be stress free, do listen to good music of your choice. Relax, don’t always be in hurry to complete your work or task. When I was a child, I had a CD of encyclopedia. In that CD I saw various musical instruments of the world on computer. I was so thrilled to listen to the musical instruments of the world just by a clicking the instrument. This the magic of MUSIC.

Music heels. When you can’t express, music becomes your voice. Party is incomplete without music. So, what are you waiting for, do read about music and get knowledge but don’t forget to tune in to your favourite music channel or app.

Which is your favourite fruit? Mine is Mango. Everyone of us love to eat our favourite fruits. But with busyness we forget to have our meals on time, then how can we remember to eat fruits. On the contrary health conscious people eat fruits regularly. They know and admire the benefits which fruits provide. Today I will make you know more about fruits and their benefits. So that, all of us include fruits in our diet.

Fruits are rich source of vitamins and minerals and a healthy snack option. We all come across various post showing health benefits of fruits, we read it but never try to implement or you can say think it’s not so important. You must eat fruits that are available in your local market, wherever you stay in the world. Include seasonal fruits in your diet as they provide much more benefits.

I don’t think any fruit in the world, which is not beneficial for us to eat. The focus is on local and seasonal because they provide benefits according to the weather conditions of that particular region. Just close your eyes for a while and remember all the fruits which you have eaten in your childhood. Are they still available at your place? If yes, then don’t hasitate to buy those fruits and let your children also enjoy the benefits.

You can google the benefits of each fruit you eat. But what is the use of just knowing what is beneficial for you, if you don’t have a practical approach towards it. Now a days we all are talking about immunity. The advertisement we see on T.V are flooded with products which will boost our immunity. Have you seen a fruit seller advertising his fruits? The benefits are known to us from years. We grown up eating those fruits. The more we come close to nature and natural things the more happy and healthy we become.

Instant food is always injurious to health. Try to stay away from it, if possible. The purpose is to share all, that can help you stay healthy and when we are healthy we are automatically happy. Who wants to spend his hardcore money on illnesses, and bear medical expenses? I think, no one. Save that money of yours. How you can curtail medical expenditure? The answer is, by adopting a healthy lifestyle. ‘Prevention is better than cure’ .

The more colors on your plate, the more healthy you are. Have fruits as salad, have them as a snack when you feel hungry, make a smoothie, enjoy each fruit and its unique natural flavour. Happiness is best enjoyed when your body and soul is healthy. There are many players providing fruit juices in tetra packs. What we like about it is that, it has a shelf life more than fresh fruit juice, easily available at a store near us, saves our time. We just pour it in a glass and have it, thinking we are sipping a healthy drink but, when we see it’s ingredients we will know, to increase its shelf life many preservatives are being used which are not at all good for our health.

Most of you are already aware of what I am emphasising on. Good, that you don’t just rely on health insurance and think otherwise. To give a healthy life to your children, the first step is show them what is healthy lifestyle not by just preaching them but becoming an inspiration to them. They are 24×7 at home struggling with, which we all have not been through, yes, you are right, I am talking about the pandemic. The questions which my son ask me most of the time is ” Mumma, when you were a child, have you faced a situation like pandemic? Were there lockdowns, when you were a child?” These questions makes me think that children, around the world might also feeling the pressures, which my child is feeling.

Social Media started in year 2003-2004. Myspace, Facebook, Twitter were there since then. Today we can’t imagine even a single day without social media. It has become integral part of our life. It not only make us connected with our contacts but also provide knowledge about things which we don’t know through other mediums.

Social Media helped a lot in these tough times of COVID. It not only provide vital information world wide but also becomes medium of occupation too. Earlier it was just used to stay connected with people who are far from us. But today when people were deprived of meeting each other due to COVID. It becomes life line for all of us to share information, to stay connected, to gain knowledge and much more. Children were not going to school since last one and a half year. And this social media platforms provide them with creative world where they can show their creativity by making wonderful videos, learn music, art and so on.

Many gained and learned new skills. Earlier also Social Media was a vast world but also misused to share hate speech, to spread rumours etc. This time also many rumours about COVID were spread so much misinformation was spread but wise were those who stick to the facts and ignored all the rumours. We all faced this situation around the world.

Social Media played a much responsible role in times of COVID. When we were staying alone at our homes it gives us light of hope. It makes us smile, it boost our moral to stay positive. Now omicron is spreading and still we are not safe. The news from one country to another spread like fire, this is the role played by Social Media.

We were able to help each other just because of social media. We were at our homes but was spreading information like contact numbers of people providing free food, things to do, contact numbers of medical facilities around our areas. We were and still are in touch with other countries and watching how each country’s coping with this new variant of COVID. Learning from each other, what to do next. How to be prepared for future in terms of medical facilities. A simple message can do wonders. So, let’s spread positivity again. Social Media itself becomes world of happiness.

Vaccination drives are still going on and booster dose is also being recommended. We can’t help in making the vaccine, but we can spread information by just a simple message to our near and dear ones to please be safe, follow social distancing, wear mask and wash hands. Try not to be a part of huge gatherings.

Social Media is also used to share jokes to lighten up the mood but many sensible people use it to provide help and spread humanity by which many people get inspired and follow their foot steps. It opens up doors for so many to get help from these warriors.

Social Media is a busy space in India, where almost all the internet access is via mobile phones. It’s increasingly common for people to use social media to ask for help, over WhatsApp , Facebook, Twitter and other platforms. So when people were short of oxygen supply thousands of responders’ step in, tracking and verifying sources of oxygen, drugs, beds. They connected those asking for help to non-profit, on ground volunteers, suppliers.

You might be wandering that from last few blogs I am continuously talking about COVID. Yes, because it has affected our lives so badly, it affected our lifestyle, our mindset, our businesses, studies no one in this world is being spared by this deadly virus. Be it young or old, rich or poor, healthy or ill. This only thing inspired me to write about how social media played its role. Earlier social media was not considered as a good thing, it was thing of people who want to pass their time but now peoples’ thinking have changed drastically.

Though some people might misuse social media with fake accounts but overall it is a very precious medium to be connected and be creative.
