Women are the backbone of a family

What do you think about women and the role played by them in your life? Think again, think of your grand mother, mother, sister, wife daughter. The values which your grandmother have given you, the protection, the care, love. Then comes mother, recently we celebrated mother’s day, in March we celebrated women’s day. Do you just give a gift to your mother and make the day special for her or make everyday special for her, by caring, loving, giving attention?

When it comes to women empowerment I feel why is the need for empowering women? They are already strong but friends the society in which we live is still men oriented it may be changing though. Men can’t see women more successful than him, though exceptions are always there. I wonder if someday God send a women to save the world, this men oriented world will not accept that also. They will deny the blessings of God and question him why you send a women to save the world. It hurts men ego, I am talking about the orthodox ones.

The blog is about how women play a vital role and are backbone of a family. Think of a day, start from morning till night. Who takes care of all the stuff done at home cooking, cleaning, washing clothes, homemakers are more engaged in their home than working women. I already said exceptions are always there. Women work from home also, so that they can give optimum time to family and their career too. Ambition to make a career of their own is good but if your child gets neglected then it will harm you in long run. Women when given a chance to do red collar job or white collar job or blue collar job they do wonders. Women are more patient, calm, strong, focussed than men.

If a women gets ill in a family whole family gets affected. It makes the family paralysed. Best way out is to share the work load of home, men should start cooking at home, wash cloths, many family men already do it and also make your little ones independent, let them cook their meal once in a week. It will be an activity for them and they will also learn to cook. Women are much sensible to take care of families finances. The reason is men are so busy making money that they don’t have time to think where to invest earned money. Women always be encouraged to get higher education so that , she can pass on that education to their children.

An educated women is an asset to the family. She can lead the family business. She can do anything. There are dreams in her eyes also. A women protects, care, love, fight for injustice and expect support from other family members. People judge because they can’t accept change. The people who can’t digest womens’ success will always drag women back by ethical or non ethical ways. Don’t bother about those people. Stay true to yourself.

Women lead government can deliver much better governance. Women always work in favour of all the citizens of the nation and having soft corner for everyone. She always lead a peaceful government with growth and prosperity of the people in mind.

War in Ukraine is example of men ego leading to destruction. Destruction of infrastructure, loss of people’s life, harm to humanity, affecting whole world, I strongly believe not only women can be backbone of family but can play vital role in Governments also. Prime Minister of Sweden and Prime Minister of Finland is such example.

Be the change, try to overcome all the obstacles and three cheers to all the feminist.

Motherhood

Motherhood is a blessing. In this blog I will highlight the role of a mother in shaping up her child’s future and her contribution to make her child a good human being.

Mother plays a crucial and most important role in upbringing of a child. But her sacrifices and contribution is underestimated. The emotional, moral values, child’s overall growth, a mother does it all. Sometimes she has to become a shield for her child, to protect child from all the evil. Mothers are full of emotions and love when it comes to her child. She supress her feelings when she is taken for granted at times just for the sake of giving good environment and happiness to her child.

I will still say, motherhood is a blessing because your child’s love makes you feel so. The day your child is born, you also born as a mother. It’s your birthday too. Your child is always at back of your mind. Wherever a mother goes she is always worried and concern about her child. Motherhood becomes mentalhood when she has to perform all the duties by her own be it household work, helping child with homework, socialising, taking care of all the family members etc. I am saying so because a mother puts all her heart in raising her child and the family. But instead of being appreciated, listens to taunts, that she has done nothing new. These taunts and non- appreciable behaviour by others makes her go into depression.

A mother sacrifices her career for the good of the family but not recognised by others shows, how man dominated this society is. Imagine if mother is ill, whole family gets disturbed. So, it’s important to give utmost respect and appreciation to the woman of the family for her happiness and good for the family. Being a mother is a blessing because not all woman are so blessed. A mother’s happiness is very much important.

When we appreciate someone it makes them happy. So is the case within the family, if the efforts of a mother is respected and recognised she will do more than she can for the family with happiness. When a mother makes you feel that family is her world. So it’s duty of the family members that they make this world more happy place to be. Life of a woman changes when she becomes a mother. Her time is being divided. She devote more time with her child and due to which the time which she has to be with other family members is compromised.

A mother is said to be busy with some course or hobby when her care is not needed anymore by the family. Everyone is independent and can take care of themselves. Funny part about motherhood is that you keep on making plans to visit your friends but unable to fulfill all the promises. Household chores is considered as most unproductive work which a woman does her whole life. Grocery shopping, it takes so much time thinking and making the right choices for the family. A woman or mother is the backbone of a family.

The emotional, spiritual, academic, mental growth of a child is result of 90% contribution of his mother. Mother makes her child a good human being by giving him good moral values, by performing good deeds by self, and encourage child to do the same. Repetitive action of child makes him aware of good which he is doing for the society. The child will be spiritual if he see it in family and learn from it. Academic performance of a child will be good if he is encouraged and supported all the time. The knowledge should be above the grades which he get. When a mother wins confidence of a child she not only becomes a mentor for his child but a friend too.

It’s the intelligence of a mother in everything she do for his child and family which makes a happy child and a happy family altogether. Motherhood should be celebrated everyday and not only on mother’s day. Because she is the one who look after her child and family everyday ignoring her interests and health. A mother should always be respected, be it a working mother or full time mother. Her contribution is unmatched.

Happiness

What is happiness? When you attain peace of mind, is happiness. Defination of happiness depends upon our own self. For some money is happiness, for some good relations is happiness. Enjoying each other’s company is happiness.

Going on a vacation makes everyone happy. It uplifts our mood and makes us more energetic. Some kind people loves to do generous or social work like feeding hungry, providing essential things to needy. These people find happiness in making others happy. We can define happiness according to our terms. People copy each other to find happiness but forget that happiness is an inside job. You can’t find happiness by just coping others. When you are not 100 percent satisfied with what you are doing, you won’t be happy with the things you are doing and with yourself too.

Self-love is happiness. When you love yourself without bothering about, what others think about you, you start feeling good about yourself. Money can’t buy happiness. If it could have, then world’s richest people should have been the most happiest people on the earth. But it is not so. Money can buy you temporary happiness, but for happiness within yourself and peace of mind it’s important that how you react to a situation. If someone provoke you, do you get angry or calmly tackle the situation?

It’s very easy to get angry, difficult to stay calm. Try to do the difficult thing. When we complete difficult task, it makes us confident. Do you know anger is root cause of so many diseases? If not, just google it and you will be surprised to see the result of your search. Anger is major obstacle in path of reaching goal of happiness.

Create happiness around yourself. Be with people who inspire you, who want good for you, who love you for who you are. Grow, learn, admire. We mothers when get so busy in our family and children, forget about our hobbies, passion, liking. When asked about my passion by one of close friend, I paused and keep on thinking, what is my passion? After so long, I discovered that, it’s writing what makes me happy. And here I am.

We earn living to fulfill our needs and to enjoy life, but in the process we stop thinking about what are the things or reasons which makes us happy. We just go with the flow, if someone has visited a famous mall or enjoyed movie in any theater and posted happy moments on social media, we believe that, it is called happiness. I have seen families happy with limited income, still they are enjoying life. With more income and spending, we complicate our life’s.

How many people feel happy when they think of you? is the question. If your presence and absence matter to someone, it’s happiness. You have understanding soulmate, is happiness. Our happiness multiplies when we share it with others. Bow down in front of God and give all your worries to him. He will never disappoint you, but you have to trust God first. Keeping a pet and spending time with him makes every animal lover happy. What we give our pet is love and in return they also reciprocate and love us. The language of love is understood by even animals.

Have you seen plants grow well if we play music near them. Music is food for soul. It makes plants happy and they grow well. When you get support of your loved ones you feel happy. Finding happiness in small things is the key.

Recently, I attended a zoom meeting, where all the parents have joined and they were concerned about the well being of children at the time of pandemic. What all problems children are facing, how they are deprived of physical activities, staying at home all the time etc.

Parenting is an ongoing process. You cannot be free from the stress of how your child will perform in exams to his health and other things which affects child’s upbringing. Every parent is responsible for how his child is being brought up. The role of parents is too crucial and vital in building character of a child. Every parent gives their 100% for their child.

After talking to all the parents I came to know that we all are sailing in same ship. The diffence is that some children have adjusted in online class system on the other hand some are still struggling. We parents talk to each other on regular basis, it not only gives us confidence, but also relive stress. Parenting involves a lot of things, as a parent we have to watch over, what our child is doing in free time, what type of friends they have, what kind of things they are watching on TV, their health, acedemic performance, hobbies, and so on.

Parents have to face child’s tantrums at times and how to deal with it in appropriate manner is all about parenting. Parenting role is the most challenging one because, children not learn from what you teach or preach them, they learn from parent’s actions and reactions to a certain situation. They learn from how their parents treat others, how their parents meet financial challenges and so on.

So, lets be a role model for our child, because he is 24 hours watching us.

What mothers want- her Child’s Happiness

Mother’s all around the world must agree that her child’s happiness is the most important thing which she wants. Right from the day her child is born she gets delighted to see his vibrant smile. She for the sake of his child sometimes sacrifice her career. So that she can take good care of her child. Make food for him, be always there when he needs her, play games with him, teach him new things. Mother’s world revolve around his child, she gets worried when she see a little sadness on her child’s face, if her child not eat properly, if the child gets injured.

But, sometimes we as mother’s don’t understand why our child is behaving in certain ways. We start finding the answer on the internet. I also right from, when my child was born, wanted to know, what are the milestones which a child should achieve, to a certain age. I became so cautious and worried that, I always be thinking of, why my child have not started walking by this age or why he is not eating certain food etc.

Searching and attaining knowledge from the internet is good but excess knowledge leads to confusion. It’s best to talk to a child specialist. Let your child grow at his pace.

By the time child comes in his teenage, he understands a lot, have studied a lot, knows so much and mothers can easily communicate with them. Our child sometimes teaches us new things about computer, about new technology and much more. Mothers should not always lecture his child, but sometimes become a student also and learn from his child. Ask your child about, what subject he studied today, what was the topic and when he will answer you , you will automatically know what he learned and understand.

Sometimes children are in so much pressure of studies, that they only think about it. Spending time with them is not always enough, ask them what they like, give them breaks from studies, know what are their hobbies. My son is a diploma holder in calligraphy, he not only study, not only learn new art from his teacher, but also taught his art to 50 children from different part of the world, free of cost at the time of lockdown. I am so proud of him.

By giving them freedom to choose their path, children attain immense confidence that his family supports him fully. Not only they feel happy about doing what they like , but feel so much light from inside that they want to fly high.

Academical grades only tell you what they learned. But what they understand will be known to you when you sit with them and support their liking, their area of interests.

All the mothers give their hundred percent for raising their child. But comparing your child with other child is the wrong thing which we do. Every child has his own qualities, some may be good at dancing, some may be good in studies. By knowing about your child’s likes and dislikes and supporting him is what will make him a good and happy human being.
