When did you wake up in the morning today? Are you a morning person? If yes, you are blessed. Mornings are cool, it sets the mood of whole day. Whatever you do in the morning, you remember it the whole day. Doing prayer, singing song, feeling happy, doing workout, enjoying your tea or coffeeetc.
I choose to publish this blog in the morning. We feel fresh in the mornings, after sleeping, when we wake up and our batteries are fully charged. Give a positive start to a new day with a smile. Just feel the morning breeze, it’s telling you, your day will be fantastic.
Being a morning person what I enjoy about early mornings is, its peaceful, it gives you edge over others. You can utilise early morning time doing workouts, prayers, students can learn new lesson.
Forget what happened yesterday, forget what will happen tomorrow just focus on today in the morning. The coffee which you have in the mornings tastes different which you have other time of the day. It’s so refreshing, just like mornings.
Don’t rush to do things in the mornings. Take a deep breathe. See your face in the mirror and smile. Feel and always stay focused that you are important. Mornings can do magic.
Little things in life, sometimes matters the most. The morning vibes are so blissful. Give yourself 2-3 minutes, sit in silence and feel it. We readers are very calm people, want to live in our space, without disturbing others keep reading, keep learning, keep growing. Bloggers are good readers too.
The work which we do in morning doesn’t make us so tired because we are full of energy in the morning. Try to write your blogs in the morning because we are not affected by the outside world in the mornings. Our mind is so fresh and full of ideas 💡.
Mornings are important for each and everyone of us. Regardless of in which profession we are, irrespective of our age. Mornings are good for all of us. Those who wake up late can try to wake up early atleast one day. I am sure they will not regret it.

I don’t know how many of you are interested to know about my weightloss journey, but my coach and friend, Prashansa suggested me to write a blog on it as she was and is with me throughout this journey. I hope you all find it inspiring and interesting. So let’s start-

Let me first tell you what was the reason behind joining a weightloss program. Last year in 2022 we went to Dubai for vacation there when we were at Desert Safari, we all were clicking pictures and suddenly the cab driver who was clicking pics said to a group of ladies, “jump and I will click your pictures”. All three of them jumped so high, the ladies were overweight and jumped very easily two three times. Now came our turn, he said to our family, jump. Surprisingly I was unable to jump even a single inch. This moment was the turning point of my life I must say. My mind was wandering, why I was not being able to jump, there were so many questions rising in my mind. Strange isn’t it? Anyways we enjoyed our vacations and came back to India on 29th June, 2022.
As I am a very health cautious person, always watching health related videos and post online. But irony is, only watching them will not make you healthy. You have to take right decision at right time. So, I decided to join a weightloss program within 2 days. I didn’t ask anyone, decided myself, and the weightloss journey started on 1 July 2022.
We women think about our family first and take our health for granted. But every women should take their health seriously. I used to say to my friends you should take care of yourself so that you can take care of your entire family. Recently, someone said the same to me.
So, coming back to the weightloss journey. It started in the month of July, 2022. I had two coaches, a diet coach, Mandeep and fitness coach Prashansa. They both interacted with me on call and designed a diet plan and workout plan according to my capabilities and choices. First month was very challenging, I had to change my eating habits, do workouts daily. What I ate, how much protein, carbs,fiber, fat is being consumed in a day was all tracked on the healthifyme app and workout was also tracked daily. Then slowly it became my habit to log food and workout. I was not at all good at doing workouts first few months. Because by following diet plan only I loose so much weight. My fitness coach used to scold me, screamed, gets angry many times. Diet coach and fitness coach always keep a check on me. I connect on call every fortnight with them. It took time for my body to adapt to changes.
I always took workouts for granted honestly. Keep on giving excuses, today I went somewhere, today it was so hot, today it is so cold that’s why I had not done my workout. But, my fitness coach didn’t lose hope, keep motivating, keep modifying my workouts accordingly. I was very much interactive with my diet coach she with vast experience had all the solutions to any challenges which I faced. Unfortunately she left the organisation and a new diet coach was assigned to me. The day she left, my fitness coach was also on leave. I dropped a message in the app where we had a group with coaches to chat with them anytime, that, I need to talk to my fitness coach. My fitness coach, Prashansa called me up, she was ill still she called me and check about my health. I was moved by her dedication towards her job and caring nature. On new year eve i.e 31 Dec, 2022 took a resolution that I will excercise regularly and eat healthy. I stick to it till now thank God. Everything was going well before the assignment of new diet coach. From Feb 2023 to may 2023 I was only relying on workouts because my fitness coach was the same but my new diet coach was not as good as Mandeep. I got struck I was not loosing weight, was very disappointed and low just about to give up. Then I booked a call with my fitness coach and tell her about the situation. She scolded me. She said you have come this far and loose good amount of weight why are you giving up. At that point I told her I am not being able to follow diet plan, didn’t said a single word against new diet coach.
Confused what to do. Then I decided if I had to continue the weightloss journey then I had to change my diet coach. It was Monday morning at 6:15 am I assigned a new diet coach for me. My third diet coach is Priya. She understand what I expect from my diet coach and now I am happy to have Priya as my diet coach. Prashansa, my fitness coach took good care of me while I was struggling and about to give up. Her love, care, understanding saved me from giving up.
In weightloss journey our thinking totally change. We always think about eating right, eating healthy. The grocery we used to buy earlier now has new healthy options. I have learnt a lot from Mandeep ( my first diet coach) and Prashansa ( my fitness coach).
Now I do workouts, strength training regularly and enjoy it too. Thank you to my fitness coach. This change from making excuses to enjoying workout is because of her faith in me. My weightloss journey is still on will soon achieve my target weight. While on this journey you only and only think about how to be fit, active and eat right. Your conversation with other family members changes. When you visit anyone you do try to avoid unhealthy stuff as much as possible. The control and choosing healthy over unhealthy is all about this journey. When this control and choice becomes your lifestyle you are a winner along with your coaches, because without their guidance this journey was not possible.
While attending any function or party we keep a check on portion, because when we attend any such function we have the tendency to overeat. My weightloss journey was full of highs and lows but I am happy that I took a right decision at right time and lucky enough to have coaches like Mandeep, Prashansa and Priya.

We are so concern about our health, still can’t resist ourselves when we see fast or junk food isn’t it? Reason is, it tastes better than healthy food. We want more and more of it. We forget while eating unhealthy food that what harm it can do to our body. I know some people who can’t leave unhealthy eating habits and are ready to consume medicines afterwards. Junk food is so tempting.
But now the things are changing for better. WHO has also suggested countries to restrict marketing of unhealthy food, levi high tax on sugary drinks, provide more healthy food, provide space for walking and cycling. These suggestions are given keeping in mind the high number of obese people and children and I totally relate and agree with all these suggestions. The root cause of illness should be eradicated. The steps taken in the right direction on right time leads to better and healthy generation.
There are so many YouTube channels which are engaged in providing healthy recipes, watch them. Eatinghealthy is a choice whichone shouldadoptas soon as possible. Children will learn to eat healthy if parents also eat healthy food. I too when switched to healthy food choices discovered that, healthy options are also tempting. It gives you sense of satisfaction that, all which we consume will only benefit our body. Improves our immunity.
Nobody wants to be ill, isn’t it? The day youchoose health foryourselfis the day you choosehealth for your entirefamily. Which food is healthy food? Local, seasonal and traditional food is healthy food. The food which we make at home, the food which we used to enjoy in our childhood, the food which is available in our nearby local market, the food which doesn’t have fancy packing.
If you don’t want to eat medicines as food then start eating food as medicines. Eating healthy brings joy from within, we feel light. We become physically fit with regular excercise. Eating healthy and exercise go hand in hand. Being fit means, we save ourselves and our family from unexpected huge expenses incurred if we get any lifestyle disease and get hospitalised. Being fit means, we save our family from emotional trauma faced by them if we get hospitalised. Being fit also means we can perform all the daily activities with ease and are always energetic.
So, eat healthy staywealthy. We save money, otherwise spend on medicines when we are unhealthy. Avoid fast and junk food as much as possible. When we have control over food choices we make, our health improves.
We all love to celebrate our happiness in different ways and we all enjoy when we celebrate a big or small event of our life. We celebrate birthdays, festivals, when we achieve our goals, when we buy new car or house etc. Today when we are living a fast pace life, we do celebrate special days but in a different way. We post our happy pics on social media and feel elated by the number of likes we get on the post.
Search on google every day, you will find something or other to celebrate, recently we celebrated International Books Day, some days back it was Earth day celebrated. So, what I want to convey is that each day should be celebrated, so that we never have any reason or time to complaint. We should be so busy in learning new things, improving skills, self care that each day becomes a celebration. ‘Life is meant to be celebrated‘.
‘Being happy is beinghealthy‘ and vice versa. On 29th April, it’s International Dance Day. So, what are your plans? Go check, a place nearby where it is being celebrated and be a part of it. Being busy with your passion is the best thing in life, it will give you immense pleasure and happiness which you will not get doing anything else. But if you are in a job where you feel stressed all the time and you don’t find time to relax and rest. Take a break. Watch a movie, eat your favourite food without bothering about how much calories it has, listen to your favourite music. If all this doesn’t work then check out a place nearby where some or the other day is celebrated be a part of it. Forget all the stress and have fun.
COVID outbreak had taught us to take care of our health and we should live life to the fullest. Be kind and helpful to others, then only we can survive. Don’t just breathe, eat, sleep, repeat. Our life is very precious and we can contribute making ourself happy first and then make others happy too. Look around yourself, you will find something or the other which will give meaning to your life and to others too. Spread awareness about climate change. Do something small or big about it. You will feel happy when you will get to do it. After all, at the end of the day, happiness is what matters to all of us.
We all have a small area in our home where we have some plants. Early morning just visit that place and see all the plants, see new leaves, see new flowers blooming. By just seeing this you will be motivated and feel fresh in the morning. Water the plants, take care of them as they take care of our environment.
Each day write down your thoughts, write down the task which you have to complete the next day. This will help you to be organised. It doesn’t matter whether you completed the work that day or not. But you have a clear vision, what you are supposed to do. Clarity, focus, priority these three things will make your life easy.
Everyday will be energetic, full of happiness, something to celebrate about. Be focused, motivated, happy and healthy always. ‘celebrate each day of the year’
Today is 8th March, 2050 and I am reading newspaper, it’s written that ozone layer is repaired naturally, there is no hole present in it now. Great new! After so many years of struggle with pollution, earth is healing. Plastic waste was talk of decades back. Now we use environment friendly things. Cities have their own huge green area. Where people can enjoy nature.
Technology and nature going hand in hand. Pollution related health issues is not a concern at all now. Everyone is living a healthy life, thanks to small and effective actions taken by each and everyone on earth to save it. There is no threat like climate change and consequences like earthquakes, excess rainfall, floods, increased temprature around the globe. But why am I talking about all this?
This was matter of concern in the year 2023, whole world was effected and we all were taking measures to minimise pollution. But now things are much better in 2050. With the help of technology and determination of citizens of earth we and our children are living a happy and healthy life. Think, what would have happen if we would have not be aware and didn’t took any action against climate change in 2023?
Happy to see children watering plants at their homes, they love nature. Each and every child is active and now play outdoor more often. Nature attracts them to be with it more. It’s good for their well being, isn’t it?
Government has ban all the junk food chains and junk food seller on streets. Everyone of us are very fond of seasonal fruits and vegetables. Healthy lifestyle is a common thing now. Doctors are also enjoying life as they don’t have much patients. They have time for themselves too.
People enjoy walking more, cycling more than cars. Public transport around the world is so safe, economical and eco friendly. The weather is so pleasant. Delighted to see so many flowers in my garden. Everyone is at peace, no country thinks of war.
What if everything happen in future like this? Imagine good in future, good willhappen eventually.Stay happy, stay healthy, stay safe.
