Flowers spread happiness. Just by seeing vibrant colours of flowers our heart bloom. Most of us have plants at home and I am sure some plants must be flowering plants. The happiness of watching a bud bloom into flower is so refreshing and complete. It feels like a reward for our consistent care of the plant. Any nature lover will agree with my words.
Flowers symbolizes freshness, celebration, happiness, colours. We give bouquet of flowers to our loved ones on their special occasions and sometimes to apologies for our mistakes. Flowers can convey what a gift can never.
Fresh flowers are used for prayers daily. Another most important benefits of flowers are, it relieves stress and anxiety, it keeps you calm, it heals. Bring home fresh flowers daily at home. Use them for prayers or just to decorate a corner of your room. You will feel the difference. Your eyes will sparkle with joy and your heart will thank you. These little things in life bring happiness not only to you but to your loved ones.
When you are happy you will automatically spread happiness. Where ever you will go, good health and happiness will follow you. I am giving you a task. Let’s do it together. After reading this blog you will go to a nearby florist and buy some flowers for yourself and for the ones you love. Stop sharing photos of flowers and smell the real ones.
We buy and use expensive perfumes made of flowers. I am also very fond of perfumes. Let’s bring home the raw material of a perfume factory home, (flowers).
Our celebrations are incomplete without flowers. Earlier on every birthday celebration I used to buy party popper but from last 2 years I replace it with fresh flowers. It’s more natural and eco friendly. These small changes are not only good for our Environment but also good for our well being.
Flowers give a refreshing feeling and good start to a hectic day. We celebrate the festival of Holi in the month of March in India. It is festival of colours and in many parts of India it is celebrated with flowers. The flowers are used to make natural colours which are used to celebrate holi.
So, what are you waiting for bring home joy, bring home colours, bring home freshness, bring home flowers because ‘Happiness is fresh flowers‘.

When I was a kid, I remember how we used to celebrate Christmas in school. We party in our school before winter break and Christmas. We used to collectively decorate our class and Christmas tree. Each class decorated by its students and the best decorated class was awarded best class.
One of our teachers used to became SANTA CLAUSE WITH MANY GIFTS AND SWEETS FOR CHILDREN. Santa Clause used to visit each class and distribute sweets. I feel those Christmas vibes today also when I go to any market or mall. When I see Christmas decorations for sale. It makes me nostalgic and I remember my good old friends who are still in contact through social media. It’s been years we have met but through our messages we always feel close and connected.
Christmas is approaching what are your plans? I am going to celebrate with my family. What about you? The vibrant colours of Christmas, Red, Golden, Green and white always makes my heart shine. The cakes and pastries in the bakery is another reason I love celebrating Christmas.
My son is always excited about Christmas. He decorate Christmas tree every year with great enthusiasm. This year also he is planning to decorate Christmas 🎄. We eat special meal on Christmas.
Christmas brings us more close to next year as it is the last week of the year. Christmas celebrations and vibes continues till 31st Dec. All the shops, malls, hotels and restaurants are seen with Christmas and new year decorations. Santa Clause is ofcourse children favourite.
Delhi, my hometown is coloured in the beauty of Christmas. How you celebrate Christmas ? How it is celebrated in your city? Do answer in comments. Are you also excited for Christmas and new year?
Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year.

We are heading towards end of year 2022. So, count your blessings and be grateful. Take a jar and make small slips, write what good had happen till now in 2022, one by one in that slip, fold it and put it in the jar. You will find reason to be happy when you see that jar over and over again. Fill your jar of happiness.
You will see there are so many reasons to smile, to be happy. The first reason for all of us is for sure that we are alive despite of deadly outbreak of pandemic. Be thankful, celebrate each day, spread happiness, be kind and humble. I am sure we all have so much to cherish in life than our sorrows. Divert your attention from regrets to blessings. We all are blessed children of God. Focus on people who love you than who just pretend to love you or don’t like you.
It’s well said ‘God’s plan is better than our wishes‘. It’s just that we can’t understand his blessings. ‘Every cloud has silver lining‘. It’s just when we divert our focus from clouds to silver lining. Celebrate small achievements, small happiness. This will make life more happy for us and everyday will be celebrated. Celebration means happiness.
When you fill your jar with happiness, don’t just keep it aside, rather, when you have time open a slip a day, one by one. Think about that happy moment, gather all the memories about it. Photographs or write how you feel about your that happy moment. Writing the feeling will make you live it again and your heart will fill with happiness. You will forget about your sadness.
Buy a jar for your loved ones and gift it on any occasion. Tell them to do the same. Christmas and New Year is approaching and festivity is in everyone’s mind. The thought of celebration infuse a spark in our body and soul. We forget everything and plan how to celebrate, what to buy, whom to visit, whom to invite and so on. Get togethers are good for making memories which will stay with you for lifetime.
Coming back to ‘Jar of Happiness’, write your happiest day, your most memorable evening, etc of the year. Hope you will find this activity enjoyable and helpful. Stay happy and healthy.

We shop throughout the year something or the other. But buying in festive season gives more happiness. You will see sales, offers, discounts, cashback everywhere. Online, offline, in markets, in stores, in malls everyone is buying things. Women love shopping and after two long years of COVID they are back to do their favourite thing (shopping). Though everyone do shop online but to shop offline has its own charm.
Offline shopping is time consuming, you have to pay the fare for commuting but it’s worth it. The vibes of festivity can’t be felt buying things online. If you want to feel it then shop offline. Everyone wait with their wishlist to shop in festive season. So, what are you buying this festive season?
My list is also ready with so many small and big things to buy. I am sure your list is also ready too. So what are you waiting for. Decide from where you will buy the stuff of your choice before anyone else do. Because chances are things go out of stock very quickly in festive season. Offline shopping gives you a chance to dig in to the popular food of that place which you miss in online shopping. The rush, lights, decoration in markets and malls makes you stay there for long.
Diwali is approaching after that comes Gurpurab and then Christmas. Time flies in this period of the year. Happiness filled days throughout. After Christmas it will be time to wrap up year 2022. Enjoy shopping, have fun, stay happy and healthy, don’t spend much on junk food. Take the benefit of offers and discounts. Shop online if you don’t have time.
Bring home positivity, happiness, joy, lots of lovely stuff which you want to buy. Thank God everything is normalising slowly but gradually. Though there is sign of economic slow down in 2023 but economies grow when people have positive approach. We have won over COVID together, we will get through economic crisis together too.
Stay positive, Stay happy.

Baisakhi is a festival celebrated on 13th or 14th April every year. This festival marks the first day of the month of Vaisakh and is celebration of spring harvest primarily in North India.
Baisakhi as a major Sikh festival marks the birth of ‘KHALSA’ order by GURU GOBIND SINGH JI, tenth Guru of Sikhism in 1699.
Sikhs go to gurdwara, attend processions, recite gurbani kirtan after that people dance, exchange sweets, cook traditional dishes and enjoy them.

Happy Baisakhi to all, may this Baisakhi brings more happiness in your life.
