My First Tattoo

Interesting story of how I got inked. About 4 years back suddenly one day I showed interest to get inked, have a tattoo on my wrist. My husband had a tattoo many years back. I was always against tattoos. I used to say it’s just for show off and the stuff like that.

First thing which I did after decided to get inked is, found a good reliable, experienced tattoo artist. After serching the internet finally found one. I paid 200 bucks at the time of booking my appointment with the tattoo artist.

I was so excited, but at the same time scared. Scared of how much pain I have to bear while going through the process of getting inked and after care. I keep on talking to people who have tattoo on their body. Making me sure that its safe and I don’t have to go through much pain. I was not sure whether I will be going to get tattoo done or not. I started searching for videos of people who got their first tattoo and their experience. Some said there was not much pain others were bothered with pain. I was so confused.

Another important thing is to choose a design which you wish to get inked. Its very difficult to choose. Google will provide you enormous answers and images but you have to choose according to your own preference and choice because it’s your body where the tattoo will remain throughout your lifetime. Choose wisely.

Now the day came, on which I was having appointment with tattoo artist. I didn’t got the courage to go after watching so many videos. Actually I was scared of needles. It gave me enough reason to withdraw my decision of getting tattooed. Another reason was aftercare and risk of having infection.

Internet provide vast information, sometimes we got confused when we get abundance of knowledge. What to do. My 200 bucks got wasted. I gave so many reasons not to get inked.

Another year passed. Again I got interested to get inked. This time I didn’t watched any video but searched for which design will be good as my first tattoo. Again paid 200 bucks to the same tattoo artist for booking appointment. This time I ask him I paid you last year 200 bucks will it be adjusted when getting a tattoo from you. He said yes it will be adjusted in final payment. I was thrilled. This time it was not pain which stopped me to get inked. It was the fear of after care, risk of infection which stopped me to get inked.

Now 400 bucks got wasted. In year 2022 I started my weight loss journey which gave me strength. I feel better. More healthy more strong 💪. I keep questioning myself why I didn’t have the courage to get inked. This year definitely I will get a tattoo on my wrist.

This time I choose another experienced tattoo artist with 15 years of experience. Booked an appointment for Sunday but can’t wait and had my tattoo done on Thursday itself. This time I was sure. It was a great experience. My husband went with me to the tattoo studio. I was holding his hand all the time while going through the process and pain. My tattoo was done by THE TATTOO SHOP, NEW DELHI, INDIA. The ambience was so nice and hygienic. They use new imported needle for my tattoo. Kept me motivated with kind words. Light music was playing. I really enjoyed, it took 30 min to tattoo get done. Before that, we took 15 min to choose the design. The Tattoo artist tell me about the aftercare. I have to be careful for 30 days.

I got my first tattoo on 21 Sep, 2023. Yeh!! So happy.

This is a story of a girl, Pari.

Her kind nature made her, the apple of everyone’s eyes. She looked after her elders well. She took care of her wellbeing as well. She was a responsible and a sensible girl.

One day, while returning home from temple Pari saw a begger. He was in terrible condition. Dirty cloths, dirty hair, walking without wearing any footwear. Pari stopped for a while to give him money. Suddenly, she took back her hand with money and ran back home.

She reached home and went to the store room and began to find something from one trunk to another, from one baggage to another and found what she was searching “A weighing scale.”

Next day, when Pari visited the temple, she took the weighing scale with her. Her eyes were searching for that begger. After looking here and there she finally found the begger sitting next to a flower shop.

She went near the begger and gave him the weighing scale. The begger got surprised and asked ” what is this ? “. Pari replied ” this is a weighing scale”. Begger asked again ” what will I do with it? “. She answered ” you don’t have to beg now”. Begger questioned, “how?”. Pari said, ” you will now be able to check the weight of the people who pass from this lane, and they will give you money for checking their weight! “.

The begger’s eyes glittered with happiness and he thanked the her.

Though Pari was a strong girl, she still gets afraid of uncertain future. One day an earthquake occurred near her city. Her friend from another country was worried and checked if she is alright. She answered yes, I am alright. Her friend felt so relieved. Her friend Remi loves Pari, understands and care about her.

They both were blessed to have each other. They both were like minded always talking about health and happiness. Pari didn’t like if She finds Remi talking to someone other than Pari. Due to Pari’s introvert nature she can’t express herself openly but gets angry with Remi. And stop talking to Remi. Remi gets upset but didn’t say anything to Pari.

One day Remi decided that she will not talk to others as Pari is more important than anyone else in her life. They both resolve there misunderstandings and found happiness in each other. Their bond and connection was like this.

You never know who will come across your path and change your life for better.

Visit to Golden Temple

Above image which you are seeing is of Golden Temple, which is also known as Darbar Sahib. It is situated in Amritsar, Punjab, India. I recently visited it with family. Though we try to visit here every year. But this year, we were more happy that we had the privilege to bow down to Guru Granth Sahib ji, Sikh’s present Guru in the Gurudwara twice. At the time of evening prayer i.e. rehraas Sahib and early morning.

The experience this time was so amazing.

We chose weekdays this time instead of weekends to visit here. There are lakhs of devotees who visit here on holidays and weekends. We enjoy listening to gurbani. The atmosphere was so divine. Specially inside the Darbar Sahib.

You can easily come here through flight, train and by road also. It’s approx 500 kms from Delhi. It’s a foodies paradise. You can enjoy a variety of delicacies here. For vegetarian food you can visit Bhrawan da dhaba and Kesar da dhaba. And for non-veg food visit Makhan restaurant.

There is a famous aam papad (dried mango pulp coated with some spices) shop. They also sell mouth freshners. The name of the shop is Lubhaya Ram in Laurence Road, Amritsar. You can also visit here and buy some aam papad.

There is another Gurdwara situated near Golden Temple named Guru Ka Mehal. We visited there too. The whole experience was so so good. We were very much satisfied and happy with our visit to Amritsar.

You too should visit this divine place when you come to India and feel the vibes.

Heart filled with love & happiness

This is a blog for the people who are afraid to express their feelings to others and keep hiding their feelings for someone they love. We all have a heart with feelings, irony is we express all the feelings except love to someone we love and expect that, that special one should understand her feeling and react accordingly.

When we express love to someone special what happens is that special ones heart gets filled with love and happiness. Reciprocating love with love is very important. How the other person will know that he/she is being loved. Though the person understands but still the special one wants a surety.

Always express your love for the person you love. Don’t you want that the person who is being loved also feel happy when you express your love for him/her.

There is love between friends which becomes the reason for happiness. Just by being there, just by your presence someone feels good, what more you can ask for? If you are the reason someone smiles feel privileged.

In this harsh world where you struggle in your job may be by job politics or heavy workload always remember your health and happiness and your loved ones health and happiness is more important than monetary gains.

We never feel happy all the time. Yes, it’s TRUE. Never lose hope. If you are going through some problem. Always say, this will pass. Everything is alright. When you say everything is alright, you believe it and you will see everything will become automatically all right.

Always discuss about solutions and not problems. Sometimes we get busy that we don’t find time for ourselves. It’s okay. We don’t find time to exercise, or we don’t feel good so we don’t exercise. Take a breather. Just go for a walk for a week. When you get your Stamina back again start your fitness regime.

Where there is love there is happiness.

Sometimes what happen is our heart is filled with love but we don’t open up with everyone we meet or get connected. We may have many contacts but it lacks inner connections. We get along very nicely with like-minded people. We always have real talks with them be it sad or happy. They are our people. Our heart gets filled with love and happiness when they are with us.

Be the light

Be the light in someone’s darkness. So that they can easily see the path ahead. We all have the ability to encourage each other. It takes only a few kind words, spoken or written which can encourage someone, can make their day. Can change their life.

We all have our own struggles which always makes us so busy that the time we get for ourself is to rest or sleep only. We never think of being creative because we lack time. Creating something is a pleasure, those who are in creative field knows how it feels when they complete a book or blog, how it feels to complete a work of art. Being creative gives you immense pleasure and satisfaction.

We all have good and bad experiences about social media but sometimes we meet people who encourage us by their post, who becomes an inspiration for all not because they want more likes but they want good for others, these souls are very rare to find and if you met someone great on social media treasure their friendship.

Social media is full of things to explore. It only depends on what are your interests.

World needs more encouraging people than critics. Some have their job to encourage people to do better others encourage because they are the light for others in the dark. There is a difference.

If you love someone express your feelings before it’s too late. Express before they are gone. Show them that you love, you care. Your love can change a person for good.

By encouraging each other we are making the world better, full of smiles, full of laughter, full of happiness.

If you are not healthy, how can you guide anyone about health. If I am not happy how I can spread happiness. We spread what we have, If we have love we spread love. Make sure your cup is full then only you can pour to others.

When we sit in a plane while giving safety instructions cabin crew says, wear your oxygen mask first, then help others. What does it means? It means help yourself first then think to help others.

Things that makes us Happy

We all like many things which makes us happy. It may be food, music, art, anything. But when it comes to me, I love few things which always makes me happy. They are, good food, music, travelling, coffee, nature, books,reading, and writing ✍️.

Good food fulfill our stomach, good music fulfill our soul. Travelling makes us explore a place unknown to us, which makes us curious, excited about the place to visit. When we visit a new place we experience and feel it’s aura.

Coffee is a feeling experienced by every coffee lover. Coffee is drank everywhere around the world and loved by most people.
