Music is life 🎶. This is true for me I can say. I have noticed that whenever I have headache and at that time I listen to the favourite playlist of mine I feel relaxed. Every beat every note hits my brain with such a healing, relaxed manner that it makes me share it with you.

Singing is another way of enjoying music 🎶. When you sing all your emotions alined with the lyrics of the song as if you are expressing your feelings.

Happy to be back after so long. Hope all is well. Today the topic is very common worldwide, sustainability. What do you think when you listen or read somewhere the word ‘sustainability‘? Is it reduce, recycle, reuse♻️ or something else? Expecting answers in comments.
We all are already aware how climate change is affecting our lives and the economies of the world 🌎
The destruction is huge, of lives, of infrastructure. People are relocating to safer places now. How long we will live like this? I know we can’t do much when it comes to natural calamities. But our present actions taken against climate change can take us and our next generations to brighter, happier, sustainable world 🌎.
We all are responsible for climate change. Air pollution, water pollution, deforestation these all are our bad doings to eco system. Nature is the giver , it always gives. Fresh air to breathe, clean water to drink, shade of trees 🌳 sunlight. But we don’t know how to take from nature. We can’t survive without trees but trees can survive without us. Still trees gives so much to us. They are blessings to us, should and must be saved. If you plant a tree today it will take 10 years or more to ripe it’s benefits. The trees which are already there save them first. Go ahead with the plantation drives but first save trees which are already there.
Always be ready to help countries who are in vunarable situation due to some or the other natural calamities due to climate change. We are fighting two wars against climate change. First to safeguard each other at present and second to take steps so that coming generations, our children be safe in future.
The weekend makes us reminds us to do things which we can’t do on weekdays. Like sleeping an hour or two extra, visit our favourite place, cook our favourite dish, spend time with family and friends, watch our favourite movie, chilling.
When we go out we hardly see any outlet selling healthy food. After my weight loss journey completed. I am now well aware of food healthy or unhealthy and portion size to eat. Still when after completing weight loss journey we do so many mistakes because when we are under expert guidance we don’t go for unhealthy food. We have a target or goal in mind but when that goal is achieved, then what? I am sure people who have done weight loss in their lives will agree with me.
When we have to maintain a certain weight it’s the most difficult thing. Last year in December I suffered from Patellofemoral pain syndrome, still under recovery. This makes me gain weight, due to lack of excercise and calorie burn. I felt very disappointed, keeping in touch with my coach. Now I have decided to eat mindfully and if I can’t excercise for weight loss, then what? I will focus on eating healthy again.
Now I am doing recovery excercises for knee and eating healthy. I can’t think of weightloss. My daily activities are at halt. Slowly and gradually I will gain my health back doing all my daily activities normally and only after that will think for weightloss again. I have to accept that healing will take time ⏲️.
Sometimes we come across such incidents in life that we can’t do much about it but to wait and watch. Watch ourselves to grow, to heal fully and be Strong 💪.
At this time one thing will save me and that is mindful eating. Now I know the value of balanced diet.
Eating mindfully is nothing but to eat a balanced diet. When we are dependant upon others then we have to eat according to their wish. I have made some rules to follow, so that me and my family eat less of unhealthy or junk and more veggies and fruits (healthy food).
Have junk or unhealthy food in moderation(once in 15 days).
When we visit any place make sure we search for healthy option first if it is not available nearby, then go for unhealthy ones.
Be well hydrated.
Take a fruit with us if we can. Fruit is the only healthy fast food.
Less ordering food from online food delivery apps.
Educated person can take more appropriate decisions in life. It brings communities together. Education is capable of problem solving. One step towards climate change actions is to educate people what can be done so that everyone can be the part of this mission. Impacting largely.
Instead of packing water in plastic bottles. Avail water carts at every metro station, bus stand , railway stations from where people can refill their water bottles.
Women are emotional, sensitive, Yes we are. More kind, soft hearted, Yes we are, proud about that. These qualities will save the world. These qualities will keep humanity alive.
We women love with all our heart, be it family or friends. Women friendships are more about love and care.
We feel always safe with each other and that’s the beauty of our friendship. As a woman we understand all the phases we be through throughout our lives. We are the best support system to each other.
If I say something good about women doesn’t meant to offend men. I have seen many men to be feminist too. The difference between boy and girl starts from the birth of a child. When a women got pregnant everyone actually wants a boy. Have you seen people going to pray to have a girl child? I don’t know about other countries but in India people pray to have male child. This is the start of difference.
This mindset needs to be changed by the society.
We the Mothers of boys should take care of our child and teach them how to cook and do all the household work so that our boy becomes man who supports his wives in future.
And when they have to have their child. They pray to God for healthy child. Be it girl or boy.
We mothers should never restrict our daughters to do only cooking and household things only. Let the girls explore different things.
We as women should take a pledge to support each other. Mindsets will change when we boldly stand for ourselves and our children. What climate action we will persue if our mind will be struck in this gender game.
