Things to do VS Things we do

There is so much to do in one single day that sometimes 24 hours seems less. To plan our day ,we make a Things to do list. In which we make a list of things we have to do in a day. Anyone can make a list of things to do in a day. It helps in completing important things and we by seeing the list remember what all work we have to complete. I suggested by son to make a list of things to do. By following my idea he now daily make a list of things which he has to do. He then tick mark the things which he completes in a day. By the end of the day he comes to know what all chapters he learned, homework done by him, some project work if given by his teacher. By making list he never forgets what he has to do in a day.

As we all are CEO’S of our own life, we must set some targets daily for ourselves and try to achieve that self- made targets. The targets which we make for ourselves should be focused on our own improvement and not to compete with others. We all are now a days so much health cautious that some have joined gyms, some have taken diet plans, some have now become vegan. Most of the time what happens is people join gym, after a week or a month they get bored because everyone wants instant result, but to achive certain figure one must have to work hard.

People do things that are in trend, without thinking once that, is the trend good or right for them or not. We must not always blindly follow the trend. Everyone of us have different lifestyles. A thing may be good for one and bad for other. We know which food is good for our health, still need an advisor to advise us. And ready to pay huge amount to them for their expertise. Self-care is the best way to be happy. When you are happy, people around you will also be happy. So the most important thing to do is Self-care. People come across so much motivational, inspirational post daily that they just read it and forget it. The most inspirational and motivational person you will see is in the mirror.

Take care of that person first. Have the courage to say ‘no’. People have their opinion, let them be. Live your life, and be happy. Happiness is more important than anything. If you try to make everyone happy all the time and ignore yourself then you are doing harm to yourself. Taking care of yourself is not being selfish, it’s self-care. Make a list of things to do so that you make all the effort and focus to achieve that daily goal. Be it paying bills, visiting someone, planning for future, professional targets etc. These are the things which you have to do, you like it or not. Fulfilling all the family responsibilities should always be a priority without ignoring oneself.

So, always remember, you are important too.
