Yesterday, I read about benefits of writing. Amazed to know, there are so many benefits. First benefit is that it clears our mind.
Yes, its true, the thoughts, grievances, fantasies, doubts should be written on paper or on computer screen, they say. It clears our mind and free our mind from thought which distract our mind from doing daily work, solving problems or just enjoying life.
The second benefit is it help to recover memories. Start writing memories, you will remember more instances linked with it. Happy memories will make you smile, and you will remember events and people you care about, driving you to get in touch with them again.
Next benefit is when you write things, you are less likely to forget them. When we make notes of things to do or write a dairy or journal, the chances are that we will less forget it, and when our mind is full of so much information. Its natural that we will forget something or the other.
Writing fiction will also help in analyzing things and look them from different view point. Another effective way of doing this is to start writing blog. This will make you think long before you write anything down since your work will be read by audience.
It improves our written and verbal skills. When we write something down, we are more careful in choosing the right words. This means our writing will be more elegant than our speech. Both our personal and professional life benefits from this.
You will feel like you have accomplish something. Yes, I agree with it. I have some information or thoughts in my mind and I have shared it with the readers, and may be it will benefit them. It makes me feel good.
It’s great mental exercise. For body we do exercise, same applies for mind. Writing is minds exercise. It keeps our mind sharp and active.
So now, we come across many benefits of writing. If you are not a professional writer. Just give a thought and start writing.
