
There are three elements of health: Physical, Mental and Social Health. We should eat such foods which benefits these three elements of health. Question arise in my mind that ‘Are We Eating Healthy Food’?
I am not an expert to tell you what to eat and what not to eat, but eating fruits, vegetables,pulses, low fat milk and milk products,nuts, fish,meat eggs is what we know already.
We all are very health conscious. I will share here my own experience with you. 2 years back I joined gym to be active and lose some weight. Daily went to gym, first week was very painful then get used to it. Then decided to go alternate days. Because I have read somewhere that we should go to gym alternate days and not daily.
Achieved nothing and dropped the idea. Then installed an app in which what you eat will be calculated in calories. In fact, it was easy than exercising and loose 3 kg in 3 months. This app does not restrict me to a particular diet, but told me what are the health benefits of what I am eating or is totally junk and must be avoided.
I gained so much knowledge from that app. Finally came to conclusion that exercise in essential but what we are eating has more to do with being healthy.
According to me eat what you love. The food which makes you happy. We all know what is junk food and it should be avoided, internet has made us so knowledgeable.
